RESEARCH CATALOG, TERMS OF COMMITMENT AND ACCESS TO MICRODATA
Consultation of research documents is freely accessible, and questionnaires, frequency tables, and technical data sheets can be downloaded. To access the microdata (available in SPSS format), the researcher must complete the Registration, understanding that:
● they must read and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal data and the commitment to the use of research microdata;
● they must preserve the integrity of the original microdata information
● the commercial use of research microdata is prohibited;
● the publication of research microdata from the CESOP Database on other online platforms without the proper authorization from CESOP/UNICAMP is prohibited;
● Sharing login and password information with third parties is prohibited. If this occurs, the registration will be deleted from the CESOP Database;
● Redistribution of research microdata to other users is prohibited. If you have any questions, please contact the CESOP/UNICAMP Database Coordination by email at cesopit@unicamp.br or by phone at (19) 3521-1711.
Once registered, your registration will be reviewed and approved within 3 business days. The user will receive an activation code via email.
When using research from the CESOP Database, the user agrees to correctly cite the Database as the data source, following the citation guidelines below. How to cite the opinion polls used:

The researcher who uses the data from the Database also agrees to send a copy and/or example of the work carried out (printed and/or digital file) to the email (cesopsit@unicamp.br), with the researcher's identification data. This work will be published on the Cesop website, where there will be a link for direct access to the place where the work was published. The data collected regarding the published work will also be used for institutional activity reports of UNICAMP.
The processing of personal data requested in the REGISTRATION is carried out with your express consent, in accordance with the provisions of article 7, item I, of Federal Law No. 13.709/2018 - General Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD), and in strict compliance with the internal regulations of this University.
The personal data requested is limited to fulfilling specific and legitimate purposes, and its processing is carried out exclusively by the Center for Public Opinion Studies (CESOP/UNICAMP). These are:
a) Personal data (name, date of birth and CPF): aims to identify the researcher requesting access, avoiding duplicate registrations. Providing the CPF is optional, due to the possibility of registering foreigners in the Database;
b) Personal address: aims to complement the researcher's identification, ensuring controlled access, security, and integrity of the Database;
c) Institutional address: aims to verify the institutional affiliation of the holder;
d) Professional data and academic level/area: aims to identify the researcher's area of expertise and knowledge;
e) Email and mobile phone number: aims to ensure optimized communication with the user, allowing assistance in statistical processing of the research and for the adoption of mitigation measures in cases of security incidents.
This data will not be shared under any circumstances with any other bodies or institutions, whether internal or external to this university. The processing of this data is only intended to serve funding institutions and agencies, through the production and provision of aggregated and anonymized data.
The collected data will be stored securely on a dedicated server, observing information security requirements analogous to those applicable to safeguarding the research collection contained in the Database.
The data will be kept for the period necessary to carry out the required processing in accordance with the purposes indicated above. Any duplicate registrations and registered researchers who have not downloaded any microdata and whose access account remains inactive for a period exceeding 1 (one) year will be deleted.
Broad and free access to research available in the CESOP Database is possible thanks to our institutional partners, with the user subject to the restrictions imposed by the agreements in force.
By accepting this term, the researcher agrees to use the research available appropriately, in accordance with applicable legislation and is subject to the penalties of the law.
By completing the REGISTRATION, you agree to the processing of the personal data provided here, exclusively for this purpose. We are committed to protecting your privacy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018).
